The process of cutting through a material layer to the supporting layer or release liner

The kiss cut die is tooled to cut to the exact thickness of a supporting layer. The kiss cut method is available for both rotary & flatbed processes.

Kiss cutting must be performed precisely. If the release liner is cut into or you see a deep impression in the liner, parts may not come off the liner. Hi Tech has proprietary kiss cutting techniques to ensure optimum depth of cut.
