3M™ VHB™ Tape LSE-060WF is a double-sided bonding tape featuring a multi-purpose modified acrylic adhesive and a soft, conformable foam core. With a total applied thickness of 25 mil (0.6 mm), it is specifically engineered for challenging low surface energy (LSE) materials such as polypropylene (PP), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), and thermoplastic olefins (TPO). The tape creates a durable, high-strength bond without requiring a primer or adhesion promoter, while providing the flexibility needed to join dissimilar or delicate materials that may otherwise require specialized ultrasonic welding equipment. By eliminating these additional processes, manufacturers can reduce equipment investment, simplify assembly operations, and minimize post-welding finishing procedures that can require specialized workforce training.
