3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastener SJ3870 provides a convenient and durable alternative to traditional fastening methods such as screws, nuts and bolts. Designed for repeated opening and closing, it delivers a secure, reclosable fastening solution that bonds to a wide range of substrates, including metals, powder-coated surfaces, acrylics, polycarbonate and ABS plastics.
Simple, Strong and Secure
3M™ Dual Lock™ SJ3870 features interlocking mushroom-shaped heads with a stem density of 250 stems per square inch, providing exceptional holding strength—up to five times the tensile strength of typical hook-and-loop fasteners. The fastener is backed with a black, modified acrylic, highly conformable foam tape protected by a removable film liner. This pressure-sensitive foam adhesive provides a strong, durable bond with excellent resistance to chemicals and UV exposure.
