3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastener SJ3542 provides a clear, durable alternative to conventional fastening methods such as screws, nuts and bolts. Designed for repeated opening and closing, it delivers a secure, reclosable fastening solution that adheres to a wide range of substrates, including many plastics and low surface energy materials. Featuring interlocking mushroom-shaped heads with a density of 170 stems per square inch, 3M™ Dual Lock™ SJ3542 provides exceptional fastening strength—up to five times the tensile strength of conventional hook-and-loop products. The fastener is constructed with a black, synthetic rubber-based PE foam tape and a removable film liner. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive offers quick initial tack and requires only a short dwell time to establish a reliable bond.
